Community and Family Boat Building

Fall/Winter 2020: Postponed due to Covid-19

Participants will work together as a family unit, a corporate team or just a group of friends. This session is less about the educational aspect of boat building and environmental studies and more about bonding as a group and having fun. This workshop will be catered to suit the interests of individual groups. Ages 9 and up.

Youth Boat Building

March Break 2021:

In groups of 4, participants from Grades 5 through 8 will work together as a team to build a boat. In addition to basic hand skills, other skills developed will include academic, social, and emotional. The goal is to enhance the learning from the classroom, while focusing on the life skills necessary in this complex world.

Covid-19 Protocol: Equipment and activity stations will be socially distanced (2 meter minimum), Cohorts will have a maximum of 10 participants, PPE such as masks, gloves, and face coverings will be provided to participants who need them.
